Dr. Lipetz has been appointed to the position of Chief of the Spine Medicine Division in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at North Shore LIJ.  In this role, Dr. Lipetz will direct strategic plans and quality initiatives for spine care that focus on developing multidisciplinary spine centers, collaborating with colleagues in the Orthopedic and Neuroscience departments.  In addition, Dr. Lipetz will spearhead educational efforts related to spine care for the residents as well as medical students at the Hofstra North Shore-Long Island Jewish School of Medicine.
