Perry Zelinger, MD

Long Island physiatrist Perry Zelinger

Dr. Zelinger was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island. After graduating magna cum laude from SUNY Binghamton, he completed medical school at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell where he received the Departmental Graduation Award in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He went on to complete his medical internship at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola.

During his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the NYU Rusk Institute, Dr. Zelinger received world-class training in a broad range of topics related to physiatry. He also engaged in multiple extracurricular pursuits and leadership roles and was elected to serve as Chief Resident in his final year.

Dr. Zelinger returns to his native Long Island after completing a NASS-recognized fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at OSS Health in York, PA. He has extensive training in the non-surgical management of spine and joint disorders, musculoskeletal ultrasound, fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections, minimally invasive pain procedures, and electrodiagnostics. He uses his expertise to accurately diagnose and create a multimodal treatment plan in order to help patients achieve their highest level of function and quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Zelinger enjoys golf, soccer, game nights, and spending time with his family.
