On Saturday May 22, 2010, Long Island Spine Rehabilitation Medicine contributed as the primary Event Sponsor for the annual Kick it For Cancer event at Jericho High School. All proceeds from this event were raised for Sunrise Day Camp. Sunrise is the only camp of its type in the nation, a summer camp for children with cancer. Because of events such as Kick it For Cancer, the children are able to attend this special camp and enjoy their summers free of charge to their families. The May 22nd event was a tremendous success, attended by aspiring soccer players of all ages from the surrounding communities. Enough money was raised during this single event to cover all expenses for several campers to attend Sunrise Day Camp this summer.
