Interval Training Exercise Helps to Control Appetite

Interval exercise programs have been shown to have multiple health benefits, including weight loss, increased aerobic capacity, and more efficient fat metabolism.  Spin class, rowing workouts, and Crossfit programs are among the more recent interval training programs that have grown tremendously in popularity.  A recent article in the New York Times discusses recent studies have also found that such exercise routines also temporarily suppress appetite more effectively compared to other types of workouts.  While further research is needed, these short term findings show potential advantages to tailoring exercise programs to more effectively control weight and improve cardiovascular benefits.
