The Huntington office of Long Island Spine Rehabilitation Medicine has some exciting news! We’re elated to announce that Dr. Perry Zelinger will now be offering his extensive service at our Huntington location.
Born on the south shore of Long Island, Dr. Zelinger is no stranger to our community. From his commendable academic feat of graduating magna cum laude from SUNY Binghamton to earning his medical degree with honors from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, his credentials are truly outstanding. It was at Hofstra/Northwell that he was awarded the esteemed Departmental Graduation Award in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
His passion for physiatry led him to the NYU Rusk Institute for his residency. Here, amidst world-class training spanning an array of physiatry topics, Dr. Zelinger emerged as a leader, culminating in his election as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Zelinger honed his expertise further at the NASS-recognized fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at OSS Health in York, PA. His specialty areas are vast – from non-surgical management of spine and joint disorders, musculoskeletal ultrasound, to innovative pain procedures and electrodiagnostics. Patients can anticipate not only an accurate diagnosis but also a comprehensive treatment plan designed to maximize their quality of life.
